Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

Very nice....

If i was to change anything, it would be to put a few empty album covers (cool ones) under the cones under your TT and stick one under the Cornet. Just one layer, but do a cover for each side of the TT...plus one under the Cornet. Just lay the spikes on the album covers...

Your shelf is awful for sound though you can't hear it...yet. Having the cornet's trannies that close ain't optimal either...but with just 2-3 empty LP covers you'll get even better performance.

this way you are at least attempting to isolate the Cornet from the shelf, and keep the bad vibes inherent to both the 'table and the preamp from being shared between them. For some reason, LP covers are a very musical isolating material.

if this idea produces good things, stick 'em under everything.. its another nice way to show off your favorite bands too... those LP wall-hanging covers from the Container Store are the bomb!!!

Recently i've been using the same wall shelf supports in my OB baffle endeavors...wrapping the white shelf supports in Dynamat Extreme really deadens them as does adding a layer between them & the wall.

Lookin good though!!

vinyl is a blast when all the pieces start coming together. its an uphill battle until then though..
