About a year ago my cleaning lady ko'ed my clearaudio vertuoso wood cartridge. She bent the cantilever 90 degrees. This was mounted on an rega p25/rb600 table.
I finally got around to repairing it. Instead of just going back to clearaudio for a trade-in which is around $400 I elected to get Peter at Sound-Smith to install his ruby cantilever/nude diamond combination.
I also let him mount the cartridge. Total cost $425.
To make a long story short, the sound is outstanding, extreamly smooth and extended with lots of detail. I've been listening for the last week and eagerly spinning all my favorite jazz lp's.
I was very hapy to put my dual505/om20 back in the basement for hopefully indefinite storage.
