Those should work well, John, and four of them wouldn't be that expensive. My only concern would be how well, and how many times they would recover after being "half depleted".That was why I mentioned the deep cycle type battery. They're made to handle being discharged and recharged much better than a normal type battery. Of course I will only have to buy one for my pre-amp, and already have the trickle charger which I use on my motorcycle batteries.
Still, it may be worth a try, Jose!
