The owner is a fantastic guy and a super audio nut....reminds me of me... He owns tubes so he is smart as well!He is happy with the sound, but the plinth is rough. The only reason he is selling it is because he is getting a new MEGA Jean Nantais plinth (70+ lbs of plinthing madness).
I hope to compare the big plinth to the standard Home Despot plinth on my next visit to Portland sometime in July. His friend has the original Nantais style plinth. I wonder if the heavier plinth will make a dramatic difference to the Lenco platform?
My Rek O Kut LP-34 exhibited more bass and more growl and had a better fleshed out midrange. That said the Lenco is worth every penny of 900 dollars. It gives you speed accuracy and prat that exhibit the magic of idler drives.
