I had that MR1100 receiver, also found it on a fleamarket. Tuner not bad, amp OK, phono stage so so. It sounded a bit crisp in the highs. It's early 80s vintage, after the glory days, lots of IC's inside. But good enough to get you started. A good record can sound good on a 10 euro TT on a 20 euro amp. Get a new stylus or even better a new cartridge for that TT, don't destroy those precious jazz records. I can only dream of thrift finds like that.
