My wife and I adore the folks who clean our condo, a Brazilian maried couple. The husband was one of the guys who painted our condo shortly after we bought it, and they are entirely trustworthy and joyful folks who speak great English to boot. Occassionally, however, the husband brings along a sibling, cousin or other helper, and while I'm sure he is pretty diligent about explaining to him/her what we would like them to do and not do, and generally monitoring all the work, a dustcover and strategically placed post-it can be good insurance.But you're right. We were very careful about who we picked.
