My Cleaning Lady is a Murderer

She killed my Audio Technica OC9/MLII cartridge (RIP) while dusting my turntable yesterday...AGH!!!! Snapped the stylus off. Perfect ending to a brutal week. Looking to try to turn a negative into a positive. I liked it very much, it replaced my Shure V15V MR. Noticing a great improvement in detail, MUCH lower groove and TT noise. My main complaint would be lack of bass output, and a bit thin sounding, especially when I compared it directly to SACD. I am using an old Yamaha PF-900 turntable. Maybe it is signifcantly holding back my vinyl enjoyment? I have remounted my old Shure, gave a few LP's a spin (including Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick...see previous post) but am not happy.

Other components in my system are Musical Fidelity LP XLS V3 phono amp, classe model 20 pre amp, rotel RB 981 amp, JM Lab 907 BE speakers, Carver Knightshadow sub.
