Re: Impulse! label question

Looking at what's still floating around on vinyl it looks like at least buyers prefered the Stereo issues by '67. (Although this seems to vary by artist to some extent)

The later stereo issues seem to sound fine. (Perhaps for lack of comparison) I don't have any examples of transitional LPs in both but I do have 9103, John Lee Hooker, It Serves You Right To Suffer ('66)in both Mono and Stereo. The Stereo seems an afterthought. Too much seperation expecially for such a sparse LP, instrumentally wise.
