I only use MoFi sleeves for every LP, after a proper wet cleaning. These are relatively cheap, $35/C, so I use them on every LP I buy regardless of value.I usually chuck the original paper sleeve unless it has interesting text or pictures of other albums from the same vintage as the LP in question. These paper sleeves get wiped off and stored along with the LP (which is safely tucked away inside a brand new MoFi sleeve.)
We spend so much time, energy, and gasoline hunting precious vinyl, why go cheap on the very item that craddles your treasured finds?
