I missed out on Gary Numan the first time around. I was 16 when this LP came out. At the time, I was a die-hard Zeppelin, Who, AC/DC, Van Halen fan. The party line in my hick town was "Nu Wave sucks".Thankfully, I went away to college and my musical tastes broadened, but I had missed out on most of the Nu Wave stuff.
The great part is, 25 years later, a lot of this stuff is "new" music to me. In the last few years I finally got around to listening to Kraftwerk, Wire, Missing Persons, etc... Better late than never!
