Perhaps because I'd done a few tweaks to my 'table while the older version

was in service, but I didn't hear anything too significantly different.

I suppose brightness in one system is going to be heard as slightly more detailed in the highs in another, but there were other guys here when I changed the cart and although we thought that the new one was a bit brighter, we chalked that up as it being new and not broken in.

Since I had reviewed the older iteration and was (if I recall correctly) reviewing a CDP, I didn't listen too closely during the time it broke in...I can't find any notes I wrote about it.

Listening now, I still love the JMW10/20X combo. And I definitely don't think it's too bright. The only "error" that might be viewed as such by some is its warmth. For me, that should be "warm and musical".
