Well Tempered Lab ClassicNever had an issue with hum, it's how the cartridge picks up noise even when I touch the tonearm or the pick-up and record surface noise. Although surface noise is hard to cure, you can never quite eliminate it, it seems more pronounced with this cartridge. It's the sensitivity of the arm and the cartridge itself which bothers me. Granted I have not put much time on the cartridge but I am doubtful this would go away with break-in. If so, please let me know.
