Do original 60s Archiv LPs sound THAT better than 70s reissues?

If I take for instance Richter's 6 Brandenburgh concertos. I already own a NM+ 70s reissue (plain silver label/un-cloth box).

But a 1967 original (silver & blue label/clothed, larger-than-standard box) gives me the eye downtown... However it does have a few small stratches.

I wonder if those are forgiveable given any real superiority of one pressing to the other...
