The Wright Phono preamp with K&K step up and cables probably cost near $1500. Sure, there is much more one can spend. As John above has pointed out, he has the pass Xono which I'm pretty sure costs about twice that much. However, the Wright is no slouch, nor is the K&K with the Lundahl trannys. By all accounts the Dyna 20XL is a pretty good cart. But I often wonder if a good MM might be as good or better.
So I guess what I'm saying is How much $$$ is enough? My setup is not the last word in definition, but it is no slouch either. The MM is just a curiosity at this point. The Clearaudio Virtuoso wood usually gets very high marks and it is MM
Life has lots of trials and lots of music to help us through them.
