Home Vinyl Asylum

Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

Once cats (not kittens, they're cotrollable)

do something...they tend to do it again...no way to stop it EXCEPT:

IF you have a dustcover, get a mousetrap, set it and cover it with a piece of paper to protect your cat (maybe put a couple pieces of tape on it so it doesn't slip off).

You may be able to do that with your platter, but I'd be scared of the direction of his reaction. When the traps snaps, it'll scare the bejeezus out of him...he won't return to that area again...EVER! I've used it on speakers, on furniture, almost anywhere you don't want a cat to get comfortable...but you MUST cover it with paper and use mouse type spring traps only, of course. Rat traps are NOT an acceptable alternative.

I just was thinking, I wonder if the glue traps would work...it would drive them crazy! But that glue is strong...it was gross when I tried to save a mouse and pulled off its tiny little feet!

Loves them mousies
Mousies good to eat
Bite they little heads off
Chew on they tiny little feet.

Anyone remember Kliban?

If I had more money I'd soon be broke...but I'd have more LPs!
