I have the counterweight almost touching the tracking force mechanism and it still takes moving the tracking force to .5 to get the arm to level or float. I have a Monster Cable Genesis 2000 cartridge mounted. Is this cartridge too light for the arm to zero out or is there something wrong with the arm? Is it a costly thing to fix? Am I degrading the sound by ignoring this misread and going with an external tracking force tool exclusively to set the tracking force?
