Usually even a long scratch does not brother me too much if I like the music, I can tune it out for the most part, unless it is deep enough to make a really loud "pop" which I think would be bad for the Stylus so I wouldn't play it anyway. I always prefer a clean, quiet copy when I can get one, but something that is hard to do.I have not tried the Last Record Preservative, I use the Last Stylus Preservative (Stylast?) which seems to work very well. One of these days I will have to give the Last Record Preservative a spin.
