I had asked Al to build the Clarinet for me several weeks ago and was planning on getting a tube power amp. Then I saw the new version of the JD-1000 (Jolida still has the old version shown on their website) noting the power, 100 wpc, style and remote control (I'm disabled and a remote is VERY handy) and made a couple of inquiries. I got a very good quote ($400 off msrp), so went for it. I'm going to keep the Cornet II forever and may keep the Clarinet as a backup along with my NAD C272 power amp.
