I have EXACTLY your setup- same table, same base, same arm, I presume same power supply.Something is wrong, that's pretty clear. As to why the sound should degrade- I have to say I have never heard that one before. Can you provide some details, such as how long this takes to happen, is that always consistent, etc. Have you used any test discs to check parameters?
