really has work to do on their system.Most new vinyl, not all, is done as an afterthought. Though overall I think the quality of vinyl releases has improved through the digital age the quality of digital releases has improved as well.
I get great sound out of my affordable $299 NAD CDP. Quality that I've never heard from an under $1000 (deck, arm, phonopre) analog front end.
At this late stage though, whether one prefers the best of what TTs or the best of what CDPs have to offer is somewhat a moot point. The quality and manufacturer of the recording media is ultimately in most cases the deciding factor.
Yes it is that simple.
