Mixed Bag is right,sums up my record collecting.
As Ivan 303 says,his Telefunken Stereo Box set(I also own this set)is from the Valois recordings,but the middle LP in my pic is Astree!but I am sure from the same set.
French Labels are my rave at the moment,for Chamber Music they are unbeatable.
Unfortunately at present I do not own 3/4 of the Vegh mono set,in the mean time the great early Juillard Quartet are filling the void,their 4th from early 50s is I think the best I have heard.Regards LPH.
