You're the first? I might have to jump in my time machine and fix that....Seriously, I'm looking forward to hearing your impressions of cartridge. Like you, I'm wondering how a new MM design works. I get the feeling that most--if not all--the other new MM cartridges are basically modifications of existing designs that could be twenty years or older.
One thing I wonder about is that there are people who love MM designs (particularly vintage) feeling that they are musically better than modern moving coil designs made for the modern audiophile. It would be interesting to see what impressions these people have of this MM once it's been out a while.
Does this cartridge have the nut part of the mounting integrated into the cartridge? The one photo I saw makes it look like that is the case. If so, right they have a major selling point for that cartridge as far as I'm concerned.
