Quantity and Quality of bass in Belafonte at Carnegie Hall (Reissue)?

How is the quality and quantity of bass in the reissue (Classic Records). There is a lot of full, yet fairly tuneful bass. Belafonte has lots of chest resonance.

Is this how things should be?
