Thanks Ray for the reply and info. My three settings for moving coil on the Quad are .775, .300, and .100 with .100 being the loudest and provides the least surface noise. It seems very loud however. Which settings would you suggest. The .300 seems to be about the same volume as my cd player.
Just did a vinyl to cd comparison using Elton John's 11-17-70 and the vinyl simply blew away the cd. Not even close. First time I've compared cd to vinyl. Using Linn LP-12, Linn Itock LV II arm and an Monster cartridge. Very interesting.
