Some nice Dave Brubeck acquisitions

I purchased a couple of nice Brubeck albums this afternoon. One was "Back Home", a great album btw. Released here on Interfusion label for Concord. Playing it now.

The other was a bit of a mystery. It's on Joker label (Italian) SM 3804, and it has no title. It features Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, Norman Bates, and Joe Dodge.

I checked out allmusic and all but one of the tracks is on "Live (1954 and 1959)", that leaves "Fairy Day" which they do not list as one of his songs, ever!

I then googled "sm 3084 joker" and found it mentioned in some other discographies. Seems it's from a 1956 concert in Italy. Sound quality is nowhere near as good as the other album I bought, but I guess we shouldn't expect 1956 live recordings to be perfect :-) Still good music however.
