The Monster Cable cartridges were designed and built by the man behind ZYX, Hisayoshi Nakatsuka. I use a close relative of your Genesis 2000, the Accuphase AC-3. Actually, the Accuphase and the Genesis 2000 mkII are essentially twins.Their design philosophy and focus on low resonance bodies, Micro Ridge styli, and boron cantilevers is still present in the current "Airy" models from ZYX.
Aside from all of that babble, if the Monster sounds anywhere as good as my Accuphase, you have a cartridge that bests 90% of what's out there in todays market.
