the o ring of course isnt necessary and i wish i had thought of the hair band bofore i went to the auto parts store, but i got what i got and it works fine.its not as effective as a reflex clamp but pretty effective anyway. with clamping that good, a reflex only benefits flat records and blokes like me who have cartridges that run into the reflex clamp.
why people think they need additional weight is beyond me unless they are they are sing a dual with a removable spindle.
