This is interesting because I purchased an L70 that I believe was in original condition (one owner prior to myself). It had grease in the main bearing very similar to the grease in the motor bearings.I cleaned it up, replaced the grease and it will coast for almost 2 minutes before stopping from 33rpm. No leaks or other issues.
I've read that some of these bearings were designed for grease, and from the construction on my L70 I can see that there is not an oil-tight seal on the bearing housing. Did Lenco use more than one style of bearing housing or ???
Thanks,
Pete
