Yep.

Music Among Friends is a fairly obscure title because it is the only album that the group ever made. Most of its members are fairly obscure, too. Muldaur is the exception, of course, but Eric Kaz wrote songs, and worked with Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt. He wrote Cry Like a Rainstorm. The Traum brothers were early Woodstock residents who were based in the folk movement, as was John Herald. Herald did a couple of solo albums, and one had Maria Muldaur as a background singer. Bill Kieth was a bluegrass guy who played various instruments, notably the banjo. Lee Berg was a singer and also a member of another band called the Woodstock Mountain Revue. Jim Rooney is another bluegrass guy who played guitar on several John Prine albums. I assume that association was made through their common friend, Bonnie Raitt. Tony Brown is the wild card because he is best known as a gospel singer. He plays a mean bass, though.

All these people were instrumental in the movement that was started in Boston and New York City, but later moved to Woodstock. They are partly responsible for an entire generation of music.

I have the Mud Acres album, but I'm not familiar with the McCurdy work.
