Now I can understand the double-digit numbers on the Karajan "Pastorale"!Thank you very much indeed (BTW - both the Karajans are definitely German pressings, following your info).
As an aside, these LP's demonstrated to me (once again) that you cannot assume that the condition of an LP sleeve is any gauge of the disc - I've found spindle-marks that indicate side 1 of the Vivaldi was on a TT platter maybe once or twice, otherwise they are all mint/unplayed.
