Thanks for the details.However, the Karajan "Eroica" is marked A9/B7 - stamped letters followed by hand-inscribed numbers.
The Gazzelloni is as you say - 1Y2 and 2Y1 (sic), (and a stamped 'p'1974). Catalogue# is 6500 707. Were the 1960 recordings multitrack and released as stero at that time? I'm assuming they must have been as I can't believe Philips would have been passing off mono processed into pseudo-stereo without mentioning so on the sleeve.
