Noone has brought up my clamp to date. I did post about it some time ago but that's about it. I agree it's extremely effetive, simple and very little to nothing to go wrong (except for the O ring).The hair band thing came to me while I was looking for a replacement to my old dry rotted O ring. I tried a couple of different rubber bands with mixed results until my daughter left one of her hair bands (or whatever they call them) on the living room table. A perfect fit.
