My understanding has always been that a "reprint" or "repressing" has always meant another production run of the original release (i.e. same cover art, song sequence, etc). OTOH, "reissue" means a "new issue," usually with new art, with new/different songs, under a new leader, new catalog number, etc. Think Coltrane: how many times did Prestige "reissue" his original sessions through the years, with only the OJCs even keeping the original look and feel.That's my .02, anyway.
