Where do I get a replacement arm tube for an SME 3012?

Hi all,
I bought a used SME 3012 tonearm awhile ago. All of it looks fine when I bought it, until I realised the bottom of the arm tube had been modified around the small screw which holds the headshell to the armtube ie. jagged hole with screw shim.
I would like to make this tonearm as mint as I possibly can by changing tonearm cables etc, but the defective arm tube is whats holding me back.
Any ideas?
