Home Vinyl Asylum

Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

That's the nature of the Cornwall beast . . .

I listen only to jazz and vinyl about 85% of the time. I will NEVER part with my 1964 Conrwalls, as they are THE best speaker I have ever owned when it comes to playing jazz--period. And that includes Quad 57s, various Tannoy 12" and 15" Monitor Gold and Reds, a couple of nice JBLs, Altecs, KEF 104s and 103s, etc and a bunck of little bookshelf monitors too (Rogers, Linn, KEF).

But they SUCK when playing Rock and Roll--big fat farty bass. Good thing I don't like Rock and Roll.

They're very nice with chamber music too, by the way. Not so hot with large scale orchestra music.
