Its seems that he got you to wound up to defend LPs. Ahh, who cares if he thinks the CD rivals LPs. So what? If you like LPs better, who cares? Why must people always have to justify having LPs Vs CDs?I have both CDs and LPs. I just got the Genesis re-masters box set on CD. They sound great. I have not heard any thing like it. They really did an amazing job with the remastering I assume they used the latest in technology for the latest reissue.
CDs have come a long way. Also the disk is dual layer (SACD too).
The SACD must sound awesome. I might have to get a SACD player.
