I agree with tonyb that this is a question for the hi-eff or klipsh forums. My guess is a x-over mod is in the cards (possibly in conjunction with cabinet or driver mods as tonyb suggests).One possible method to explore x-over issues is to purchase the (relatively) inexpensive (about 250.00) Behringer DCX2496 to try various crossover points, slopes, phase, etc. They're very flexible. You may end up keeping it in your system. FWIW, Arthur Salvatore has replaced his previous x-over in his horn-based system with this model.
If you were happy with your tt/arm/cart before, and the Cornwalls are the only change you've made, it seems to me that the vinyl front end would be at the end of the list of components to change.
