I liked the Denon a lot. Overall it seemed to be a more "musical" cartridge.Since, I have had the Denon re-tipped by Sound-Smith (Ruby Cantilever, line contact stylus) and find the upgraded Denon to be one of the best cartridges I have ever owned.
A new Denon through German seller William Thakker on ebay will run $150 shipped, then the Sound Smith re-tip/upgrade is $250.
The result is a killer cartridge for $400.
Of course its JMHO, IME, and YMMV...
