SACD had real promise, but there just isn't enough popular music available in the format.
I was speaking kind of generally, too, Henry. I'll bet not one out of 100 people have even heard of SACD.
I had a Sony player and was buying SACDs but in the end gave the player to my kid (he needed it to play DVDs). I'd have happily replaced my entire CD collection with SACDs but the stuff I wanted to hear never became available and never will.
