Keep the three at outer orbit, but perhaps try moving the label area three, further out from center, away from label. But keeping them equidistant/offset/different patern circle from the outers. So that A) the label is not riding higher. B) More even spacing/support of the playing area. Kind of like using the vinyl itself in tension. Taking advantage of its own surprising natural strength. And .... no law says you can't try making the individaul cork dots smaller in size as well?A hockey puck is cheap to try as a record weight also, in conjunction with a spotmat type interface. And noo, haven't tried cork dots (but do use polyurethane ones instead).
