sorry, couldn't resist ;)Silicon Nitride ball: So far, so good. Sound is everything tubes said it would be, if a little less laid back. KOB sounded a lot more intense than I was used to, but not at all bad. Only weird thing is the table buzzes when I approach it now.
I ended up pooping the little brass retaining ring out when I took out the old ball (TD150/125 subplatter), but I can't imagine it was there for anything other than convenience...?
