Russco Studio Pro B Idler - moly lithium grease question, pix of 2 favorite LPs atop 'table, & brief update

The Russco manual says to use Lubriplate (white moly-lithium grease) on the tip of the platter bearing & 30W non-det motor oil (I'm using Royal Purple 5W-30W). Are all moly-lithium greases created equal? Today I found Supertech Moly Lithium Grease (a different product from their "general purpose" lithium grease) at WalMart for $2. It's not white; it's grey. Will it work as well as Lubriplate?

LP pix:
Kind of Blue (top row: original columbia stereo 6-eye, NM): a couple of years ago this set me back more than just a few of those elusive sponduits, to quote WC Fields, but worth every cent. On the Russco KOB sounds more open, natural, and intimate than ever. Bill Evans' slightest strokes & most delicate phrasings are readily heard. Great dynamics and articulation; music leaps from the speakers (I s'pose b/c of the great PRaT) & depth & detail are superb.

Blind Faith (bottom row: original US yellow atco label, though jacket, not shown, is 2d issue), which I've listened to many times, sounds like one of my better pressings on the Russco...really. It never sounded this good.

Some recent improvements since last post:
- Some new innards: new idler wheel & shock mounts from ebayer "electrosells"
- A proper syntec tonearm rest (my son, Texanater, got the extra tonearm for one of his other 'tables)
- 3/4 MDF isolation platform, which for another $10 in parts and paint made a major improvement equivalent to a couple of upgrades.

Next improvement will be adding MDF to plinth interior to further dampen. However, the platform did wonders by itself.

Not a stunner to look at like tubes' tables, or dean man's Russco MkV, or what KWILLIS's Russco will be shortly, but this baby is making daddy very happy! BTW, you can probably tell, the cart is the now famous, best bang for the buck, AT440MLa.

Regards,
Jim
