I did succeed in getting another VN5MR (it's even a Special Edition with extended HF response, from TurntableNeedles.com) so I'm OK for now. Hopefully JICO will come out with a VN5 replacement eventually. If not, I may consider something like an Ortofon Super OM 40 or a Grado Gold since stylus replaceability it important to me.
