Can't help with any classical titles, but jazz-wise, my favorite is Doug Watkins, Watkins At Large. Excellent in every way.Cool Struttin' by Sonny Clark is essential as well IMHO, as is Blue Train by Coltrane. Wonderful stuff.
A few other goodies: Hank Mobley, Soul Station; Tina Brooks, True Blue or Back To The Tracks; Kenny Burrell, Midnight Blue; Horace Parlan, On the Spur Of The Moment; Lou Donaldson, Blues Walk; Lee Morgan, the Cooker. that oughta empty the wallet! ;-))
