If your question is
"what's the difference between Record Cleaning products used as record-cleaning products and completely unrelated products being used as record-cleaning products" ..... well, the difference is in the archival and safety aspects of such a product.
A reputable Record Cleaning company's product needs to be tested for longterm safe use on records, and a generic unrelated product does not.
If you trash all your valuable records with an unrelated generic the company producing said generic will say, "So ? Nobody claimed it wouldn't harm records."
........Although, maybe that's not your question.
