I bought a used Crown Jewel SE about 1 1/2 years ago. In fact it was the cartidge that was loaned to The Absolute Sound for a review.I paid $ 700 for this used cart.
Now I see you can buy the new Schelter for less than than.Also, speaking to the disrtibuter of the Crown Jewel SE, I was told that a re-tipped Crown Jewel SE will run $ 1100. And he said all they do is take in your old cartr. and give you a new one.
Have we been ripped off?????????
