Get four 3 inch mylar balloons. (check out a party store or florist shop or on line).Get four used bicycle inner tubes and cut out the air valves. Insert the air valves into the neck of the mylar balloon. Seal with glue and wire twists. Place a balloon at each corner under your diy sandbox and pump up with a small bicycle pump.
I have had my VPI mk iv on a sand box for over three years. No leakage of air, no refilling, no wobbling. I won't talk about the sonic improvements, but the ability to precisely level this rig is great.
