Hi.Why not put back the old Stanton cartridge & see it will bring back the sound you like?
For me, I never use any 5.1 or even 7.1 HT receivers for decent stereo music, let alone LPs. Musically, they are jokes, IMO. Don't forget they are for movies, totally different sonic equalization.
