Re: Recommend speakers/amp for listening to vinyl

In my experience you will probably be best served to address phono and integrated as separates. I bought the highly reviewed Creek 5350 because the phono stage was well thought of. Turns out that it was hype at its hypeiest. Fact is I was unimpressed with the amp itself but that’s another story.

There are a number of great stages you can pick up for around 650.00-700.00 used and that would leave you enough to buy a great amp.

Another option would be the PS Audio Pre straight into an amp. That only works if vinyl was your only source.

What I settled on was a Bluenote phono stage to match my Bluenote amp. It makes for a very pleasant and reasonably priced combo.
