I'm not so adventurous to put a coin or other material on my FR12 previously but when I look into the specs and other properties, DL-103R demands high mass arms to perform at it best. I finally settled for Zeta Black and it matched perfectly well with low compliance DL-103R cart.I don't bother with VTA but I can't say it's not importtant. Anyway, I agree with bjh that the DL-103R body must almost parallel to the record surface. I'm not tune it my self but my friend who done it for me was very good at this and I'm very happay with the result. I never got all the negative attributes that OMalley mention, oh yes, on my system with built-in phono at normal 60dB/100-Ohms loading.
